RRP BRAND MANAGER
Position purpose:
The RRP Brand Manager is in charge of supervising and executing the development of the projects in line with Category objectives, ensuring cost effectiveness and high-quality deliveries, and securing compliance with Legal, CA&C and JTI policies.
The Brand Manager (BM) must be able to propose, design and roll out programs in the assigned market.
The incumbent must have a strong GROWTH mindset, identifying potential growth opportunities, proposing relevant, adapted and timely recommendations to the Marketing Managers.
Design and execute local marketing plans in line with global strategies and priorities.
Creative asset localization and translation validation, oversee visual identity and communication.
Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns
The Brand Manager is responsible to ensure that all internal JTI processes required to successfully implement the projects assigned in the market are being completed in the respective projects assigned.
The position is clearly oriented towards defining and supporting the brand strategy, coordinating, supervising and executing its implementation, requiring also high experience in project management and permanent interaction and close collaboration with Sales & Operations Support, other internal departments (NPD, Brand Groups, Legal, Logistics, CA&C, PPO, etc.) as well as with external suppliers as creative agencies.
What will you do – responsibilities:
1. Develop, Coordinate, Supervise and Monitor the execution, on time and budget, of the projects assigned, being responsible of different activation initiatives, following the briefing provided by the Marketing Manager.
Anticipate and quickly embrace changing business dynamics, understand how to better implement the programs under these new circumstamces.
All these programs must be compliant with JTI guidelines and ensure to successfuly follow internal processes (AMS, PLM, Cycle Plan Meetings, etc...), and within the relevant Legal and CA&C framework requirements (including Spanish Tobacco Commission Official Letters' preparation and those relevant for Portugal).
KPIs must be defined by project ensuring high quality delivery, cost effectiveness and timely delivery.
2. Together with the Marketing Manager, establish KPIs for the program assigned, coordinating and sharing a complete final analysis at the end of the implementation, giving conclusions and recommendations for future improvements.
Continuous monitoring of the market at all relevant levels: geographicaly and channels.
Constantly tracking competition & new market trends, as well as understanding of consumer dynamics.
3. Coordinate, supervise and manage the allocated budget to the activities/projects assigned and ensure the maximum ROI for each one.
Allocate the budget according to guidelines and minimize unjustified deviations from the planned budget.
4. Establish a fluid communication and relationship with Sales Teams in all markets (Spain, Canaries and Portugal).
Work in close collaboration with Sales Support and Field Force to incorporate commercial acumen into activation initiatives.
Foster permanent interaction and close collaboration with other internal departments and external suppliers at Iberia level: Sales Operations and Field Suport teams, NPD, SI, Multibrand team, PPO, Brand Group, Logistics, Legal and CA&C, local Creative Agencies to ensure the design adaptation of all the materials needed on time and with high quality, other External supliers.
5. Motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly in each project assigned.
Optimise the workloads amongst the different team members assigned to the projects, prompting proper Team Development and projects execution.
6. Collaborate in the preparation of the SPC, Pre-ASP and Operational Plan presentations, setting the guidelines and direction together with the Brand Leads.
Who are we looking for – requirements:
7. Bachelor degree, Engineering or equivalent (Business administration, Marketing or similars)
MBA or equivalent educational background (desirable)
8. +5 years relevant experience in Marketing or Trade Marketing in FMCG, Consumer Electronics or Distribution/Retail multinational companies
9. Fluency in English and local language
10. Solid background in marketing (Brand portfolio management, pricing, trade/consumer understanding, channel strategy, creativity and financial knowlege)
11. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
