We operate with flexibility, adapting to our clients' and partners' needs. We are seeking an Internal Control Specialist (IT) to support our team.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop, execute, and document IT control testing procedures in line with established methodologies and timelines.
* Evaluate control deficiencies and collaborate with stakeholders to create remediation plans and monitor corrective actions.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
* Manage the exception process for risks that cannot be resolved within stipulated timelines.
* Provide consultative services and awareness to business units regarding risks, due care standards, and information security safeguards.
* Support financial and operational control specialists in delivering and leveraging technology and digital capabilities.
* Maintain results and documentation in the GLS Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
* Several years of relevant experience in IT audit, risk management, or compliance.
* Strong understanding of SOx requirements, COSO framework, and industry-standard IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, UK Corporate Governance Code).
* Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are desirable.
* Experience with AuditBoard or similar GRC tools is beneficial.
* Motivation to continually improve processes and methodologies.
* Self-motivated and results-driven, capable of leading and completing assignments without supervision.
* Strong ethical values and ability to maintain objectivity and independence throughout the audit process.
* Advanced language proficiency in English (C1). Other languages, mainly Spanish or Italian, are advantageous.
* Willingness to travel (approximately 10-15%).
