In this instance, we are on the lookout for a/an Project Controls Manager to participate in Oil Gas projects in Portugal.
Location: Sines, Portugal.
Work Modality: on-site work.
Responsibilities:
* Attend daily and weekly site meetings to supervise construction progress.
Monitor and validate schedules, budgets, and the performance of contractors and suppliers, identifying delays and implementing mitigation measures.
* Validate resources, including labor and equipment, as well as mobilizations and demobilizations.
* Manage unexpected costs and review contract terms to balance risks with business objectives.
* Coordinate and manage relationships with EPCm, subcontractors, and suppliers, agreeing on deadlines and budgets for changes.
* Develop plans, estimate budgets and timelines, acting as the main point of contact between contractors, suppliers, and project managers.
* Oversee billing, issuance of purchase orders, and related documentation.
* Participate in bids outside the EPCm contract, drafting and reviewing agreements, as well as presenting project proposals.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in planning and controlling construction projects in the Oil Gas sector.
* Experience in managing schedules, budgets, and the performance of contractors and suppliers.
* Experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders (EPCm, subcontractors, suppliers).
* Ability to lead and coordinate planning and performance supervision on-site.
* Advanced knowledge of project planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and ERP platforms.
* Experience with cost control software and contract management.
* Proficiency in English (C1 level).
