In your role as Process Development Material Technologies Engineer:
* You develop new process technologies for mixing and/or extrusion to produce advanced material technologies for Continental Tires, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and productivity.
* You specify and release new mixing/extrusion processes in a production environment, collaborating closely with our plants and other development departments.
* You define process requirements crucial for the upgrade and procurement of mixing/extrusion production equipment.
* You engage in structured problem-solving, supporting plants, Material-PI, and other groups with your expertise in mixing/extrusion processes.
* You lead and participate in multidisciplinary projects and task forces.
Minimum Requirements:
* Academic degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Engineering, Material Science, or a comparable field, as preferred.
* You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills at various levels.
* You possess analytical and academic thinking.
* You are self-organized and able to work autonomously.
* You have project management skills and are capable of leading cross-functional, international teams.
* Proficiency in English, both verbal and written; Portuguese language skills are advantageous.
* A background in rubber processing, preferably in mixing and/or extrusion, is valued.
* You have an affinity for IT development topics.
* You are willing to travel internationally.
