Your key responsibilities
As Head of Innovation at EY Portugal, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Create and lead the innovation practice at EY Portugal;
* Define and implement the strategy, vision, and objectives of the innovation practice;
* Lead day-to-day activities of the innovation practice, supervising and participating in creating world-class experiences that inspire our clients;
* Guide the co-creation of new solutions with clients and EYers applying innovation methodologies (e.g., design thinking);
* Develop an innovation hub to centralize, structure and create an innovation ecosystem at EY Portugal;
* Identify and develop relationships with potential partners for the innovation practice.
Skills and attributes for success
* 10+ years of experience working with innovation and 7+ years in management positions;
* Proven track record of leading innovation initiatives with a deep understanding of methodologies like design thinking, agile, and lean startup;
* Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex business challenges;
* Experience in collaborating with clients, industry experts, and academia;
* Strong project management skills with a proven ability to execute complex initiatives;
* Leadership and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams;
* Ability to facilitate discussions across multiple sectors;
* Full proficiency in Portuguese and English;
* Able to work in Portugal and abroad.
