Job Description
As an LQA Project Manager, you will be part of the global QA Leadership Team and Studio LQA Management Team. You will report directly to the LQA Manager and be the main point of contact for all LQA assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with team members to create test plans, define project budgets, forecast staff requirements, and develop overall test strategies.
* Oversee assigned projects, managing resources and staffing to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and to high quality standards.
* Delegate tasks to Project Coordinators and identify areas for improvement in project scoping, preparation, management, and delivery.
* Manage Project Coordinators to ensure superior quality standards are met for each project.
* Identify and analyze project-related problems, devising creative solutions to eradicate issues impacting deadlines or quality.
* Perform administrative duties, including reporting project performance, staffing, recruitment, training, feedback, quality, and key metrics to the QA Assistant Manager.
* Liaise with internal departments and global studios to ensure consistency, coherence, and resource allocation to meet diverse project demands and deadlines.
* Assist the global sales team in delivering estimated project quotations.
Requirements
* Fluency in English, particularly reporting, reading & writing (another language highly advantageous).
* Extensive experience in Quality Assurance or Localization roles as a Project Lead, Coordinator, QA Lead, or similar (preferably managing multiple teams and projects in the gaming industry).
* Able to deliver presentations, town hall meetings, and motivational talks to multiple project teams.
* Previous experience managing projects for both short and long iterations, scoping varied sizes and lengths of projects.
* Previous experience in people and project management, focusing on leadership and successful delivery of multiple projects.
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and ability to work productively and collaboratively within a multilingual global team.
* Excellent attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of current generation games consoles and PCs, and latest mobile platforms preferred.
* An interest in and understanding of the video game industry advantageous.
