Your contribution to something big:
Make the future a reality: You will develop a high-performance, robust & innovative synthetic data framework for a complex sensor set (lidar, radar, camera, imu) and corner-case scenarios for autonomous driving applications.
Engineering excellence: You will derive efficient methods to generate multi-modal simulated data and labels in an automatic way, extending the training and validation datasets for the development of perception models.
Take responsibility: As a key enabler for other teams, you communicate openly, discuss chances and limitations of the developed solutions, and provide feedback to the perception teams regarding the evaluated performance.
Working method: You are analytical, structured, result-oriented, and enjoy working in an international team. First experience with agile work environments is a plus.
What distinguishes you:
Personality: You are a highly self-motivated team player, passionate about software and machine learning, always looking for ways to enable data-driven development.
Education: You have a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: You have experience with C++ and Python in a Linux environment. ROS2 (Robot Operating System) is a plus.
You have experience with standard DevOps tools, including GIT and Docker.
You write well-structured, maintainable, and reliable code.
You have experience with sensor raw data analysis (like radar, cameras, or lidars) and how the respective signals are connected to the different ADAS modules.
You have basic knowledge of perception/fusion architectures and data requirements.
You have very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
