Key Responsibilities: Strategic Contribution: Collaborate with leadership to define and execute our vision for enhancing mobility procurement through data intelligence.
Use Case Development: Based on business needs and impact, you scout and prioritize advanced analytical use cases - beyond reports & dashboards; You rely on already curated data assets, paired with externally procured data to implement proof of concepts and early-series applications on Azure; you initially operate these solutions and later hand them over to a dedicated team for industrialization & operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal partners across various procurement domains (strategic purchasing, project purchasing, purchasing quality) to ensure user-centric solutions that meet diverse needs.
Qualifications What distinguishes you: Education: Master's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field with relevant specializations or comparable experience.
Technical Expertise: 5+ years of working proficiency with databases/platforms and corresponding tooling (SQL, Python + libraries); 3+ years of working experience in data intensive cloud environments (preferably Azure Databricks) and the implementation of analytical use cases (infrastructure, data transformation and analysis & statistical modeling/ML, Presentation); 3+ years of experience, applying ML/statistical modeling approaches to real-world use cases.
Procurement Knowledge: Experience or strong interest in global procurement processes and appreciation of relevant business problems and solutions.
Lifecycle Engagement: Willingness to engage throughout the entire data lifecycle, from understanding customer demands to implementation and rollout.
Continuous Learning : Stay up-to date with recent advancements in the data & ML/AI field and relevant (open source) software and leverage a extensive training offering.
Hands-On Experience: Experience with ML/GenAI (ML-Ops, RAG) and respective cloud infrastructure (Databricks, Azure ML, self-hosted LLMs, Networking, ...) is a strong plus.
